Virtual event
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we will be replacing our usual ceremonial Veterinary Nurses Day in 2020 with a virtual celebration on the evening of Thursday, 12 November 2020 from 7.30pm.
Our virtual VN Ceremony is open to all and will be lived streamed and viewable from the Veterinary Nurses Evening page on our website.
The evening will also be recorded and made available to watch after the event has taken place.
Programme agenda:
We have been working very hard to retain as many features of our usual live ceremony as we can, with the following programme planned:
- Welcome and Introduction by RCVS President, Dr Mandisa Greene MRCVS
- Address from VN Council Chair, Matthew Rendle RVN
- Veterinary Nurse Declaration, Matthew Rendle, RVN
- Announcement of names and formal welcome to the VN Register
- RCVS President's Address, Dr Mandisa Greene, MRCVS
- Keynote Speakers, Hayley Walters MBE RVN and Jane Devaney RVN REVN
Further information about the celebrations can be found in the FAQs section or, if you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us via [email protected] and we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.
