MMI: Mental Health First Aid Course - Scotland

Details
This two-day Scottish Mental Health First Aid (SMHFA) course is delivered by Green Ribbons and certified by Public Health Scotland.
The course will take place in person at SRUC Aberdeen Campus, on Monday, 16 June and Tuesday, 17 June 2025.
PLEASE NOTE: This course will be held live in person and requires full participation in order to complete the course and receive certification. This course will not be recorded.
Who this is for
The SMHFA training course is open to all members of the veterinary profession in Scotland, including veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses, students, receptionists and practice managers, as well as those in wider animal health and welfare roles. We would particularly welcome those working in rural areas and in ambulatory practice.
This SMHFA course provides comprehensive training that equips participants with a fundamental understanding of mental health issues, early warning signs, and effective intervention strategies.
