Informal drop-in session for veterinary surgeons enrolled onto the VetGDP
Date: Tuesday 30th November 2021
Opening times: 12:30-13:30
Venue: Online
Details
An online informal drop-in sessions for veterinary surgeons who graduated recently, and are enrolled onto the VetGDP. Whether you have already started to progress through the programme or are about to start, you are welcome to join us if you can.
The aim on this workshop is to provide a forum for you to:
- Discuss anything that you may be unsure of in relation to VetGDP such as Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) and the support you can expect from your VetGDP Adviser
- Discuss common themes and work through new situations you come across as you are progressing through the VetGDP
- Resolve questions that you may have about the VetGDP, including the e-portfolio that is available for you to use
- Connect with other graduates who are enrolled onto the VetGDP to share experiences and best practice.
No question or issue is too big or small to discuss – we are keen to facilitate sharing of best practice and provide an opportunity to help you resolve issues that may come up.
Privacy
So that we can provide a forum for open and inclusive discussion, these sessions will not be recorded. We would like to run them according to the Chatham House rule: share the information you receive but do not reveal the identity of who said it.
Please note: these sessions are for veterinary surgeons enrolled onto the VetGDP only – we’re running comparable sessions for VetGDP Advisers.
Tuesday 30 November – 12.30 - 13:30
There is also the option to submit a question that we can make sure to answer during the session.
Once we have completed the initial three drop-in sessions, we will review and then schedule further sessions according to attendance and frequency required.
