On 20 September 2019, we welcomed the fourth cohort of Fellows to be awarded under the new RCVS Fellowship initiative, as well as providing a forum for Fellows to meet and exchange their views and ideas.
Keynote speaker
Dr John Glen BVMS PhD DVA FRCA MRCVS delivered a presentation titled: 'Try, try and try again: some personal reflections on the development of the anaesthetic, propofol'.
Fellows in Focus session
We invited six Fellows to participate in the Fellows in Focus session, in which they each gave a 10-minute talk on an interesting topic of their choice.
Fellows of the Future?
We also welcomed undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as recent graduates who are involved in research projects, from various UK veterinary schools, to present a 5-minute talk on a subject of their choice.
