VetGDP Practice or Workplace Declaration
Each practice or workplace wishing to employ a new veterinary graduate must make the VetGDP declaration to become an RCVS Approved Graduate Development Practice or Workplace. For the VetGDP a new graduate is defined as someone who has graduated since the 1st July 2021 and has not yet completed their VetGDP.
Please follow these steps:
- Please read and make sure you are familiar with our VetGDP information for practices and workplaces
- In order for a practice to make their VetGDP declaration, there must be a VetGDP Adviser, as detailed on our VetGDP information for Advisers page.
- The declaration should be made by the Appointed Senior Veterinary surgeon for the practice. This is generally the person responsible for the veterinary medicines on the premises.
- The declaration is made in the practice RCVS MyAccount. If you are having difficulty accessing the practice account please email [email protected] quoting the practice postcode.
- Click on VetGDP in the blue top bar menu.
- Click on the blue link: 'declaration to become a VetGDP practice'
- Please read and tick all the boxes and click on submit
