VetGDP Adviser declaration
Each practice or workplace wishing to employ a new veterinary graduate must make the VetGDP declaration to become an RCVS Approved Graduate Development Practice or Workplace. For the VetGDP, a new graduate is defined as someone who has graduated since the 1 July 2021 and has not yet completed their VetGDP.
The senior veterinary surgeon in your practice or workplace should follow our guide to complete the practice or workplace VetGDP declaration.
Please follow these steps:
- Complete the VetGDP Adviser training, which can be found on the RCVS Academy
- Log into your RCVS MyAccount and ensure that you have a relationship set up with your practice. (See video: how to add a relationship with your practice)
- In your My account, click on the red VetGDP Adviser bar. If it is not there, then you may have already completed your declaration.
- Please read and tick all the boxes and click on submit.
