Biography
Rob Pascoe graduated from the University of Bristol in 1999. After developing a strong interest in equine dentistry in his first practice, he returned to Bristol University in 2001 taking up a teaching role in their equine practice. He passed the BEVA/BVDA Examination in 2003 and became part of the examination team the following year, taking on the role of Examination Committee Chair in 2005. He has held role on BEVA's Dental Working Party, is a Past President of the British Veterinary Dental Association and past Chairman of the Equine Veterinary Dental Association. He was part of the International Speciality Organising Committee for the European and American Veterinary Dental College Equine Track Program, and became a Founding Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College in 2014. In 2015 he became the first RCVS Recognised Specialist in Equine Veterinary Dentistry. In 2020 he was made an Honorary Fellow of the Nordic College of Equine Dentistry. In 2024, he was made a Fellowship of the RCVS for Meritorious Contribution to the Veterinary Profession.
Rob has lectured extensively in the UK, Europe and North America on the subject of equine dentistry, and through his international connections has established the Equine Veterinary Dentistry Discussion Group which provides a forum for clinical discussion between over 600 colleagues globally on the subject of Equine Dentistry.
