Biography
Adam graduated from the RVC in 2007, following his internship at the RVC he spent a period of 2 years in general practice including sole charge night work in an RCVS accredited hospital. Adam completed his residency in ECC again at the RVC, becoming a diplomate and gaining a masters degree the same year.
He is an Honorary Lecturer of the University of Liverpool and teaches and examines for advanced certification for a number of organisations including BSAVA. An RCVS Recognised Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care Adam was Head of Emergency and Intensive Care for four hospitals and oversaw standards of out-of-hours provision to 50+ sites in and around London from 2013 to 2017.
Prior to joining Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists in 2021 Adam had performed the role of clinical board chair of a large specialist hospital and was Vice chair of the groups clinical advisory committee supporting over 400 general practices. In addition to his current clinical role he is a subject matter expert to the Linnaeus Clinical Board for transfusion and haematology.
He is the representative to the RCVS Practice Standards Group for ECC, is a member of the central organising committee for EVECC congress and member of the ACVECC education committee.
Through the British Animal Rescue Trauma Care Association (BARTA) he volunteers time as a clinical advisor to contribute to best practice guidelines for incidents involving animals and the UK emergency services.
