How we make decisions
We have produced guidance for making decisions at Stage 1 and Stage 2 of our concerns investigation process, as detailed below.
Stage 1
Aim: to guide the decision-making process of the Stage 1 RVNPIC as it decides whether to conclude an investigation into a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) or refer a case to the Stage 2 RVN Preliminary Investigation Committee.
Stage 2
Aim: to guide the decision-making process of the Stage two Preliminary Investigation Committee as it decides whether to refer a case about a registered veterinary nurse to the Charter Case Committee, or to Stage 3 (RVN Disciplinary Committee).
