Veterinary Nurse Preliminary Investigation Committee
The VN Preliminary Investigation Committee (VNPIC) is a committee made up of one veterinary surgeon, two non-veterinary members and two registered veterinary nurses who are appointed to assist the assessment and investigation of concerns.
The VN Preliminary Investigation Committee meets every six to eight weeks to decide if cases should be referred to a VN Disciplinary Committee hearing.
The VNPIC Chair provides a report to the Veterinary Nurses Council at the Council's four meetings each year.
