Mr Paul Francis Morris
Biography
Paul has been fortunate to have a varied career. His main employment was with IBM where he worked across Systems development, sales, marketing and business operations. Before he took early retirement, he was Head of Operations for the European Retail Division.
He spent 24 years as a Magistrate in Nottinghamshire, chairing Adult and Youth Courts. He served as Bench Chairman and sat on the Lord Chancellor’s committee recruiting new magistrates.
He has a personal interest in Pancreatic Cancer and worked with the National Cancer Research Institute, Charities and NHS bodies to monitor and raise the profile of Trials and surgical performance.
He was appointed a non-executive Board member for his local NHS CCG from their inception and took a great interest in primary and secondary care dynamics and Ambulance service responsiveness.
Finally, in 2020 he finished his second 4-year term chairing Fitness to Practice hearings at the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
