Veterinary Nurses Evening - May 2021
Date: Thursday 27th May 2021
Venue: Online
Details
Virtual Event
Due to the ongoing pandemic and associated travel and social restrictions, we will be replacing our usual ceremonial Veterinary Nurses Day with virtual celebrations on the evening of Thursday, 27 May.
Our virtual VN Ceremony is open to all and will be live streamed and viewable from the Veterinary Nurses Evening page on our website.
The evening will also be recorded and made available to watch after the event has taken place.
Programme agenda:
We have been working very hard to retain as many features of our usual live ceremony as we can, with the following programme planned:
- Welcome and address from VN Council Chair, Matthew Rendle RVN
- Veterinary Nurse Professional Declaration
- Announcement of names and formal welcome to the VN Register
- RCVS President's Address, Dr Mandisa Greene, MRCVS
- RCVS VN Futures activity update, Julie Dugmore RVN, Director of Veterinary Nursing
- Guest speaker: Anne-Marie Svendsen Aylott MRCVS, Leadership coach and trainer
There will be two opportunities to view the event; 6:30pm and 8:00pm, at which we will be celebrating the achievements of two cohorts of newly registered veterinary nurses, and those who have achieved a Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing.
