Details
Royal College Day is usually our annual celebration of achievement within the veterinary and veterinary nursing professions. Held in July each year, it falls into two parts: our Annual General Meeting and our Honours and Awards Ceremony.
This year, the Annual General Meeting will take place as a virtual meeting on Friday, 9 July 2021 from 10am, with the Honours and Awards Ceremony scheduled to take place on Thursday, 23 September 2021.
Our AGM on Friday, 9 July 2021 is open to all RCVS-registered veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses to attend.

10am - 11am - Welcome and opening remarks
- Annual Report and Statement of Accounts
- Answers to members’ questions on the Annual Report
- Council elections: new members and retirements
11am - 11.10am - Break
- Council meeting to approve President, Vice-Presidents and Treasurer
- Address from outgoing VN Council Chair Matthew Rendle RVN
- Address from outgoing RCVS President Dr Mandisa Greene MRCVS
- Investiture of new President Dr Kate Richards MRCVS and Vice-Presidents Dr Mandisa Greene MRCVS (SVP) and Dr Melissa Donald MRCVS (JVP)
